Job Description

Information Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to lead the development of complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic technical direction and mentoring to the development team.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Angular, and other state-of-the-art tools and libraries.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely delivery and quality of the application.
  • Perform production support and mentor team members in diagnosing issues and resolving problems.
  • Develop and implement technical quality and stability of the application.
  • Lead and deliver change in a productive way.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in design, development, implementation, and post-production support of complex web applications.
  • Strong hands-on technical skills and experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Angular, and other state-of-the-art tools and libraries.
  • Experience working on agile projects and deploying systems in large organizations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and provide relevant solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to balance time between working with the team and delivering coding, research, communications, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with code branching and version control, unit testing, and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience with 'agile'.
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation.
  • Ability to produce architectural diagrams and presentations for use in communication with various levels of management and staff.
