Job Overview

Information Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled VMWare Architect to design, implement, and maintain the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure and application systems.
  • Design and implement solutions to meet the organization's business needs, ensuring alignment with industry and company standards.
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to develop roadmaps for applications, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure.
  • Provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts.
  • Understand client and stakeholder needs and deliver a coherent technology vision to meet and exceed their respective expectations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with VMWare Virtual Infrastructure (ESX server & vCenter).
  • 5+ years of experience with SAN architecture.
  • Fluent in VMware, EMC Storage, SQL, Configuring switches, VLANS, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Windows Server and IT server environments and tools such as MS IIS, WebSphere, VMWare, and Citrix.
