Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Kent Companies, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy-duty equipment, including diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities, including time, parts, and supplies used.
  • DOT Compliance: Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Licenses: CDL A license preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 80lbs, and excellent problem-solving skills.
