Position Overview:

As a systems engineer within our organization, you will offer support in networking, fabrication, security, laboratory operations, and deployment. Your role will involve delivering engineering solutions for network setups, software deployment, and troubleshooting issues related to both software and hardware across a range of servers and switches. Clients will depend on your expertise to resolve connectivity challenges among laboratory, development, and production systems, as well as to manage system-to-system applications and interfaces, end-to-end processes, and the installation and configuration of various server and switch components. This position provides an opportunity to expand your skill set and showcase your knowledge of client mission software and security protocols, including STN and STE processes. Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Network Information Service and UNIX or LINUX operating systems, such as RedHat or CentOs.
  • Experience in developing and implementing system configuration scripts using Python, Perl, Java, ksh, csh, Bourne, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with VMware technologies, including ESX and Horizon.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in applying Operating System patches and upgrades regularly, along with updating administrative tools and utilities.
  • Understanding of STE and STN processes.
  • Awareness of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience in systems engineering, or 19+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 Level II IAT Category Certification.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
