Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in Family Medicine.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota or current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota.
  • Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area.
  • Successful completion of Essentia Health's credentialing process prior to practice.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 0.6 FTE schedule, working Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
