About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Airframe Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and designing airframe structures to ensure they meet the required strength, stiffness, and stability criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement finite element models (FEM) of airframe components and assemblies
  • Analyze and resolve complex structures and loading environments using classical analysis techniques and idealized models
  • Support manufacturing and testing of components and sub-systems, interpreting technical data, and assisting in product improvements
  • Review detail, assembly, and installation design definition to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Participate in a cross-functional team environment completing a variety of objectives depending on the program lifecycle assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in airframe stress analysis
  • Experience with NASTRAN and at least one analysis pre/post-processor is required
  • Proficiency with engineering design definition, including 2D/3D modeling, requirement capture, and specification development
  • Product development experience with components or systems consisting of structural castings, precision forgings, laminated sheet, tube, or thick composites
