Grant Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Administrator to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pre-award and post-award processes for research grants, ensuring compliance with university and funding agency regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist principal investigators with the preparation and submission of grant proposals, including budget development and justification.
- Review and process grant applications, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements and university policies.
- Coordinate with faculty members and research staff to ensure timely submission of grant proposals and reports.
- Monitor grant accounts and ensure compliance with budget and spending requirements.
- Provide training and support to faculty members and research staff on grant management and compliance.
- Collaborate with university departments and external agencies to identify and pursue funding opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, business, or life sciences.
- One year of experience in grant management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Three years of experience in grant management or a related field.
- Experience with grant management software and systems.
