The Clinical Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care on a daily operational basis in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with staff, other departments, and physicians.
- Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures, and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence, or adverse outcome to colleagues and patients.
- Supervises employees in their respective department/service area and partners with their supervisor to ensure 24-hour accountability.
- Participates in direct patient care activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a school of nursing.
- Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
