Role Objective
The role involves overseeing team leaders or groups of employees/operators who utilize machinery or equipment to facilitate all manufacturing processes within a facility, including production, materials management, health & safety compliance, quality assurance, and various stages along the value chain.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Direct and manage personnel operating within established operational frameworks.
Production Scheduling
Create daily and weekly production schedules for value streams, incorporating resource allocation and performance monitoring against established benchmarks.
Leadership and Guidance
Articulate the local action plan to enhance team members' understanding of their tasks and how these contribute to the overall business strategy, mission, and vision; inspire individuals to meet local business objectives.
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies in current manufacturing methods, systems, and procedures; devise strategies and processes to rectify these issues.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards
Adhere to the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies and procedures; identify and mitigate environmental hazards and risks to personal and team well-being; instruct the team on safe working practices and address any unsafe behaviors appropriately.
Quality Assurance
Assist management in implementing quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous operational enhancements.
Workforce Management
Develop short- to medium-term work schedules to fulfill production commitments. Authorize overtime or allocate additional resources as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance
Recognize instances of non-compliance within the team concerning organizational policies and relevant regulatory standards, reporting and escalating issues as needed.
Performance Development
Utilize the organization's formal development framework to assess individual team members' growth needs. Plan and execute strategies to enhance their skills. Provide training or coaching in your area of expertise to empower others to improve performance and reach their potential.

Support others in maximizing the effectiveness of internal communication systems by offering guidance and assistance.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (3 years in a leadership capacity).
