Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Deliver advanced pulmonary therapy services, including ventilator management, airway support device management, and oxygen delivery
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care activities
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment
  • 1-3 years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred
  • BLS certification required
