We are seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to enhance Appian's technical offerings and collaborate with our delivery teams. In this role, you will serve as a technical authority within our Federal Customer Success division and provide guidance to our clients. You will not only master the installation, operation, and scaling of the Appian platform but also specialize in developing business process applications using our software. The ideal candidate will integrate technical, product, and business acumen to ensure our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer engagement through various communication channels (verbal, written, in-person).
  • Manage systems administration tasks (e.g., Linux, Windows) and IaaS solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure). Experience with on-premise Appian installations is a significant advantage.
  • Oversee one or more RDMS platforms (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Engage in programming and scripting activities (e.g., Java, JavaScript, BASH, Ruby, C#, PHP).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • An active Government Security Clearance (Top Secret or higher) is mandatory for this position.
  • Willingness to maintain an active TS:SCI Clearance (CI or FSP) and perform duties in secured facilities.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience as an IT systems administrator, focusing on building, maintaining, scripting, patching, and managing hosts, databases, and interconnected cloud services.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for candidates considered for public sector roles, with the ability to obtain at least a Secret Security Clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required prior to or shortly after onboarding.
