About the Job

K&A Appliance Inc is seeking a skilled Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery and installation team, you will be responsible for delivering and installing appliances in customers' homes, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and install a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and laundry equipment
  • Use a Shoulder Dolly Lifting System to safely move and install appliances
  • Disconnect and remove old appliances
  • Communicate with customers regarding arrival times and provide excellent customer service
  • On occasion, bill customers for parts and labor and receive payments
  • Maintain on-truck stock of parts used in on-site installations
  • Work 40 to 50 hours a week, typically between 7am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional warehouse work on Saturdays
Requirements
  • Experience delivering and installing general household appliances or a history of work as an electrician or plumber
  • Valid PA driver's license
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and carry large appliances up and down stairs with a co-worker
  • Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things
