LPN/LVN - Nursing Service Director

Columbia Post Acute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced LPN/LVN to fill the role of Nursing Service Director. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and oversee the nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing the highest level of care to our residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our nursing service is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that our residents are receiving the care they need and to identify any areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our nursing service is meeting the highest standards of care.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and dedicated nursing staff.
- Ensure that our nursing service is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Current LPN/LVN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a nursing facility.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of nursing laws and regulations.
