Job Summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a skilled Foundry Casting Processor to join our team. The core hours for this position are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $18.32.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of duties throughout the foundry areas, following standard procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Transport materials, castings, and/or equipment using a fork truck or payloader.
  • Use various rough grinding equipment, portable hand power tools, and bench grinders to remove parting lines, gates, risers, flash, and other surface defects as prescribed.
  • Change own small inspect grinding wheels or bits or dress wheels as necessary, according to job requirement or when worn.
  • Operate other power equipment to cut sprues, gates, risers, and runners.
  • Operate bandsaw and change blade as required. Operate power vac, repair ladles, dump and shakeout molds, hook off and shovel castings, etc.
  • Setup and operate automatic molding machines as assigned and/or following work instructions. Operate shot blast cleaning equipment.
  • Fill small cavities with lab metal and smooth and patch surface imperfections within Q.C. standards and operate automatic floor sweeper.
  • Perform minor maintenance duties such as tightening loose parts (spray nozzles, etc.), replacing parts (sprues, etc.), clean assigned work area.
  • Detect and report all defective materials; refer questionable cases to proper supervision and follow prescribed or standard safety regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of (3) three months manufacturing experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the company's location will be considered for this position.
Skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions; includes the use and reading of fixed gauges, and other instruments not requiring interpretation.
