Job Opportunity: The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly qualified Senior Neonatal Intensivist to join its esteemed Section of Neonatology. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns at our state-of-the-art NICU and contracted off-site locations. Your expertise in quality improvement, ECMO, outcomes research, or analysis of structured EMR data will be invaluable in driving our Section's commitment to excellence in education, research, patient care, and community service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the NICU and contracted off-site locations
  • Teach and supervise trainees and students
  • Contribute to scholarly activity and research initiatives
  • Participate in quality improvement and leadership opportunities


Requirements:
  • Medical doctorate or equivalent
  • Medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Recent experience in intensive care of newborns
