Department:  Respiratory Care
Schedule: 12-hour NIGHT shift. Monday - Friday with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
 
Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment.
Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
Schedule: 12-hour NIGHT (7PM to 7AM) shift Monday-Friday with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
