Essential Skills:

  • A collaborative mindset with a strong belief in diversity and inclusion.
  • In-depth knowledge of asynchronous JavaScript (AJAX, Promises, etc.) and data querying from various sources such as GraphQL, REST APIs, relational databases, and key/value datastores.
  • Understanding of layout intricacies and semantic markup without heavy reliance on frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Atomic Design and Responsive Design principles.
  • Experience collaborating with designers to transform design assets into functional applications.
  • A keen focus on performance and its impact on user experience.
  • A self-motivated individual who takes pride in enhancing customer experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders and experts.
  • Proficient understanding of version control principles, primarily using Git.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Willingness to take responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (especially S3, CloudFront, and Lambda).
  • Knowledge of W3C Accessibility Guidelines.
  • Experience in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with Snowflake and its stored procedure capabilities.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with Figma and Design Tokens.
  • Understanding of Webpack 5 and/or Vite.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in building full stack applications using Next.js.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests with Jest.
  • Experience in developing end-to-end tests with Cypress.
  • Experience in reviewing code pull requests and providing constructive feedback.
