Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Robotics Vision and Manipulation Software Developer to join our team at Tutor Intelligence. As a key member of our robotics development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that enable robots to observe, copy, adapt, and improve on what we show them.

Our team is passionate about building general-purpose robots that can tackle complex problems in planning, computer vision, SLAM, optimization, machine learning, and more. We use Python and Linux to develop our software, and we aim to create a robust and efficient codebase that can be used across different robotic systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from classical robotics problems to cutting-edge research initiatives. You will collaborate with our team of experts to design and implement software solutions that meet our rigorous standards for quality and performance.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong skills in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics programming. You should be comfortable working with Python and Linux, and have experience with tools such as Drake, Pytorch, and open3d. Additionally, you should be able to communicate effectively with our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Linux
  • Experience with machine learning and computer vision libraries (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow)
  • Knowledge of robotics programming frameworks (e.g., ROS, MoveIt)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards for robotics engineers with similar experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and flexible paid time off.
