We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tower Foreman to lead our site construction efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our crew meets production goals and maintains the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Site Construction Efforts: Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites, ensuring that our crew meets production goals and maintains the highest level of quality and safety standards.
- Implement Safety Protocols: Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group (MNS) Health Safety and Environmental Policies, as well as industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI).
- Ensure Safety Requirements: Ensure safety requirements are met at all sites and with all crew members, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew, and implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership.
- Compile Closeout Documentation: Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort, and upload it to customer interfaces.
- Coordinate with Customers: Coordinate with customer representatives for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship with customers.
- Provide Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew members.
- Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition, and validate daily timesheets for management.
- Serve as a Mentor: Serve as a mentor to new, less-experienced technicians, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Safety Focus: Safety is a part of your day-to-day, and you have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- Industry Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, and demonstrate expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
- Certifications: You possess job-related certifications, including First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: You have organizational, computer, and communication skills, and are able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
- Valid Driver's License: You have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions.
- Physical Demands: You are fit and in good physical condition, able to climb towers, pick up 50 lbs., and work up to 12 hours.
