What You'll Do
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems, including detailed troubleshooting and system modifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through direct, on-site interaction and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor mechanical technicians on building automation activities and provide training on electronic control systems operations.
  • Compile job documentation, including certificates of completion, customer training forms, and punch lists.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and maintain technical proficiency through extensive self-study and certifications.

What We Look For
  • Three years of industry experience or five years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in HVAC.
  • Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
  • Leadership skills to support the activities of mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical building automation equipment on a job site.
