Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems, as well as mentoring mechanical technicians on building automation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems
  • Mentor mechanical technicians on building automation activities
  • Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions
  • Provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations
  • Mentor and train mechanical workforce on building automation systems
  • Compile job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists
Requirements
  • Three years of industry experience or five years of experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in HVAC
  • Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques
  • Leadership skills to support the activities of mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical building automation equipment on a job site
  • PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC-related software
Education

Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field.
