Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure our vehicles are in good working condition.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with our fleet vehicles, including diesel engine problems, transmission issues, and electrical system malfunctions.
- Roadside Assistance: Provide roadside assistance to our drivers, including tire changes, fuel deliveries, and minor repairs.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including regular cleaning of equipment and facilities, and ensuring that all safety devices are in good working order.
- Experience: 1 year of experience performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engine vehicles, equipment, and related components.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Valid driver's license, CDL preferred; basic computer skills; ability to use repair manuals, online services, wiring diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
