The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the Primary Care Team at the Coeur d'Alene CBOC. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current licensure as a LPN in the state of Idaho.
- One year of experience as a LPN in an ambulatory care setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- One year of experience as a LPN in a primary care setting.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The LPN will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.
