The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the Primary Care Team at the Coeur d'Alene CBOC. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a LPN in the state of Idaho.
  • One year of experience as a LPN in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience as a LPN in a primary care setting.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
