BlackLine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative training classes and experiences to our partners and internal employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support new hires with product training and onboarding programs
  • Deliver engaging implementation-level training classes on BlackLine products via e-learning, in-person, and/or virtually, integrating best practices and consulting skills with changes in and improvements to software solutions, technology, methodology, processes, and tools
  • Articulate and demonstrate technical and professional knowledge of training content and curriculum available across the BlackLine solutions
  • Remain current with implementation standards, developments, and trends in areas of expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Technical/specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities: BlackLine solution knowledge, accounting/financial background, public speaking, project management, SaaS implementation methodology
  • Ability to conceptualize and present technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Ability to deliver virtual training with MS Teams, WebEx, or similar applications to both small and large audiences
  • Ability to accommodate a global virtual and in-person delivery schedule outside of regular North American business hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing BlackLine solutions
  • Experience applying adult learning principles to ILT and VILT training sessions
  • Experience in eLearning and ILT course design, storyboarding, student and instructor guides, lab exercises, and job aids with tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management software
  • Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply

Salary Range: USD $80,000 - USD $120,000 per year. Pay transparency statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
