Estimated Salary
$62,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, based on the job requirements and location in the Kansas/Missouri region.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Party Chief to join our Survey Team within our Civil-Transportation group. This is a field-based position that requires travel to various job sites daily, primarily in the states of Kansas and Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying, with experience in topographic mapping, Alta, boundary, and right-of-way surveying.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide field surveying and supervision of various active survey projects
• Conduct topographic mapping and Alta, boundary, and right-of-way surveying
• Ensure compliance with proper surveying standards and implement quality control procedures
• Provide status updates on work progress and report any pertinent issues

Required Skills and Qualifications
• 0-2 years of experience required (3+ years' experience preferred)
• Associate's Degree or higher in Survey & Geomatics, Survey Technology, or other related surveying program preferred, HS diploma or GED required
• Willingness to travel during the work week and/or possible weekends
• Flexibility with changing schedules and workload demands, including overtime hours
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Demonstrated mathematical and analytical skills along with the ability to learn new data collector software
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance
