Reporting To: Dean of Health Science, Math and Industrial Technology

Position Overview: This role is essential for enhancing the course offerings within the Nurse Assisting program. The selected individual will be tasked with delivering instruction for courses as designated by the Program Coordinator or Academic Dean.

Key Responsibilities: The institution is currently in search of an adjunct instructor to facilitate CNA courses. Classes will be conducted on the main campus as well as various off-campus venues. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility to teach during mornings, afternoons, and evenings. It is imperative that candidates possess the necessary qualifications to instruct at the collegiate level.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse certification
  • 4 hours of Continuing Education in Alzheimer's care
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • 1 year of experience in caring for the chronically ill, elderly, or in long-term care settings
  • Train the Trainer certification (or the capability to obtain certification) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • 1 year of experience in caring for the chronically ill, elderly, or in long-term care settings

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required.
