CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the production of high-quality automotive tools. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce machined parts, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce machined parts, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal production efficiency.
• Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and materials.
• Set tool registers, offsets, and compensation, and calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first run parts, and sample work pieces.
• Monitor and report production activity to achieve daily throughput goals.
• Verify conformance of production parts to specifications.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
• Identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.

Requirements:

• Lifting, pushing, and pulling pounds.
• Standing and walking.
• Visual acuity.

Compensation:

$19-$25 hourly wage.
