Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a 2nd shift position. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Machines: Produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping accurate records.
  • Plan Machining: Study work orders, blueprints, materials, and machining parameters to plan machining operations.
  • Set Up and Verify Settings: Set up tool registers, offsets, and compensation, and verify settings by measuring positions, first run parts, and sample work pieces.
  • Monitor and Report Production: Monitor and report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve daily throughput goals.
  • Verify Conformance: Verify conformance of production parts to specifications.
  • Analyze and Resolve Problems: Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Maintain Equipment and Facilities: Maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities in a clean and properly maintained state for efficient production.
  • Act as First Responder: Act as a first responder in accordance with company standards and practices.
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull pounds, stand, walk, and have visual acuity.
Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $19-25 per hour.
