Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Molecular Diagnostic Technologist to join our CLIA Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing on clinical and research use samples, participating in all aspects of sample processing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform molecular-based diagnostic analyses to support CLIA service work in a regulated laboratory environment
  • Prepare and sequence genomic libraries
  • Provide input to the development of plans, programs, processes, priorities, and operational goals
  • Maintain and optimize current laboratory protocols for maximum efficiency and yield
  • Record activities in electronic database (LIMS) and written laboratory records
  • Aid in managing supply and reagent inventory
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and master new concepts and skills quickly
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly facility at all times
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in the job discipline (clinical preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in other professional roles
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory (CLIA/CAP/GLP) is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook)
