Phlebotomist II Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection, processing, and transportation.

• Collect blood specimens from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Process and transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
• Communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, processing, and transportation.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

• Three years of experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
