Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), you will work closely with subject matter experts to architect and design advanced Space and Ground solutions using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engineering artifacts and develop models of mission systems using a MBSE tool suite that includes NoMagic Cameo EA, Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and other systems engineering tools.
  • Define data standards, data structures, and supporting technologies required to manage data needs.
  • Integrate enterprise tools and develop MBSE-based processes to support requirements engineering, ERB process, CONOPS, architecture development, Risk, Issues, and Opportunity Management boards, schedule management, test and verification strategy development, and system integration of new initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between MBSE users and tool development teams to communicate modeling needs and innovate potential solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to senior managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques.
Requirements
  • 0-5 years of experience with a BS/BA or 2-3 years with a MS/MA.
  • Current and active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • BS in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related STEM degree.
  • Experience with systems engineering processes in support of system development life cycle development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of UML/SysML modeling languages and experience applying this common structure to an MBSE solution.
  • Entry-level knowledge of architecture, requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, test, and system integration.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with tools developers and customers.
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge or demonstrated experience with DoDAF, UPDM, and/or UAF.
