Overview

A Village For One is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide compassionate support to youth and young adults impacted by sexual exploitation and trafficking.

The ideal candidate will deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, conducting in-depth psychosocial assessments and creating personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including DHS, parole/probation, schools, and community partners
  • Offer case management services to ensure clients access vital resources and meet their basic needs
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
  • Licensed or eligible for certification in Oregon as a professional counselor, social worker, psychologist, or marriage and family therapist
  • 2-3 years of experience working with adolescents and families, with expertise in clinical interventions and mental health assessments
  • Deep understanding of complex trauma and its effects, with a commitment to providing empathetic, person-centered care
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with community partners
  • Reliable transportation and current insurance
