About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide quality nutritional care to our patients. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing medical nutrition therapies, and implementing these plans with our multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Provide quality nutrition services, including screening, initial assessment, re-assessments, nutrition counseling, and education.
- Develop and implement individualized nutritional care plans that consider religious, cultural, and ethical factors.
- Evaluate potential food/drug interactions and provide nutrition education/counseling as needed.
- Communicate and implement the nutritional plan of care with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings and medical rounds to develop patient care plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
- Current state licensure/certification (if required by state).
- Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
- One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.
