School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to setting educational goals for students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
