Job Opportunity at Growing Kids Learning Center

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Float Teacher to join our team at Growing Kids Learning Center. As a Preschool Float Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily activity plans that align with the school curriculum and focus on different areas of child development.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that are educational and fun, such as reading stories, playing, using art, and going on field trips.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom, manage classroom activities like lessons, breaks, meals, and play, and enforce rules of behavior.
  • Help children reach developmental milestones, learn basic skills like identifying colors and shapes, and build their sense of identity and belonging.
  • Develop positive relationships with children and parents, and communicate with parents about their child's progress and development.
Requirements:
  • One year of relevant childcare experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Ensures the safety of the children entrusted in care.
  • Submit to a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB testing upon hire.
  • Organizes, designs and leads activities to promote physical, mental, and social development.
  • Participates in continued professional development for childcare workers.
  • Maintains all state requirements for childcare workers.
  • Physical requirements the ability to lift children (25 lbs) and standing for prolong periods.
