Job Title: Preschool Instructor

We're seeking passionate and dedicated Preschool Instructors to join our team at Growing Kids Learning Center. As a Preschool Instructor, you will play a vital role in implementing our research-based curriculum and creating a nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Implementation: Create daily activity plans that align with our curriculum and focus on different areas of child development.
  • Teaching and Engagement: Engage children in age-appropriate activities that are educational and fun, such as reading stories, playing, using art, and going on field trips.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a clean and safe classroom, manage classroom activities like lessons, breaks, meals, and play, and enforce rules of behavior.
  • Support and Communication: Help children reach developmental milestones, learn basic skills like identifying colors and shapes, and build their sense of identity and belonging. Develop positive relationships with children and parents, and communicate with parents about their child's progress and development.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of relevant childcare experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Organizes, designs, and leads activities to promote physical, mental, and social development. Participates in continued professional development for childcare workers. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment. Ensures the safety of the children entrusted in care.
  • Education: High school or equivalent (Required) or currently enrolled in a school internship program.
