Medical Surgical Nursing Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Mercy Hospital Washington. Our team provides high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, including those with GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to a caseload of 6 patients, working collaboratively with Patient Care Associates to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment as needed.
