The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and work well with the public and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Manager in all facets of the Water Production Department operations
* Participate in planning and implementing capital projects and operational strategies
* Prepare and submit reports to the Supervisor as needed
* Manage water sampling of the distribution system and water storage tanks
* Operate pumping facilities, computer, fax machine, telephones, copier, and other equipment as necessary
* Respond to emergencies and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED
* Class "C" Groundwater Certification issued by the state of Texas
* Valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record
* Three years of progressively responsible experience in Water Production utilities operations and maintenance
* Class "C" CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of employment
