The Director of Communications will play a pivotal role within the Marketing division at our Headquarters. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communication, this leadership position will oversee a team of communication professionals. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in strategic communications, with a strong focus on enhancing brand identity and fostering organizational culture. A proven track record in team leadership and storytelling is essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Campaign Leadership: Direct the planning and execution of annual marketing initiatives that align with brand objectives. Guide content creation and messaging strategies while ensuring corporate messaging is consistently implemented across all platforms.
  • Advertising Strategy: Contribute to the overarching advertising approach to ensure cohesive messaging across various channels.
  • Content Development: Develop annual content strategies and create impactful marketing materials for external communication.
  • Internal Communication: Generate engaging content for internal platforms and establish communication protocols during organizational changes.
  • Crisis Communication Management: Oversee crisis communication efforts and devise strategies for effective safety messaging.
  • Executive Communication: Build relationships with senior leadership to enhance communication strategies at the executive level.
  • Corporate Engagement: Identify and implement innovative initiatives, manage key performance indicators, and represent the organization at industry functions.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of communication specialists to foster their professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, branding, communications, or public relations
  • Experience in B2B or professional services environments
  • Demonstrated team management experience in a corporate context
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, social media platforms, and CRM systems
  • Established success in developing and executing marketing strategies
  • Experience in crisis communications and media relations
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills
