Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer with extensive engineering expertise to join our Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will possess over twenty years of experience in systems engineering.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
  • A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in systems engineering within programs and contracts of comparable scope and complexity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in developing comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
  • Ability to create operational views, technical standards views, and system/service views in accordance with applicable DoDAF standards.
  • Experience in conducting and approving end-to-end system trade analyses to enhance system operations throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in utilizing validated models, simulations, and prototypes to mitigate risks and reduce development costs.
  • Capability to ensure effective and periodic reviews of the evolving configuration of both hardware and software components throughout the system's lifecycle.
  • Participation as a member of the Change Control Board (CCB).
  • Development of system design alternatives that take into account lifecycle costs, reuse, complexity, risk, and system growth.
  • Formulation of alternative courses of action and monitoring of risks using earned value management (EVM) data.
  • Provision of technical direction for the engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
  • Improvement of standard integration strategies based on previous decisions that enhanced integration performance.
  • Definition of interfaces regarding origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics for software, as well as electrical and mechanical characteristics for hardware.
  • Involvement in Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) efforts to recommend preferred solutions based on selection criteria.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant agency, national, and international standards applicable to system development.
