Job Summary

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team. As a System Engineer at Nightwing, you will provide system engineering support for an analytic application, including system monitoring, health and status reporting, troubleshooting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide system engineering support for agile development cycles, including assisting with estimation, sprint deliverables, release notes, and monthly status reports.
  • Assist with automated testing, including scripting, and help improve deployment automation.
  • Collect reliability metrics, user, application, and system metrics.
  • Perform system maintenance and tech debt type system tasks.
Requirements

Typically requires Twenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity and a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills

Three or more of the following desired skills:

  • Support teams with testing to ensure systems yield a product capable of meeting requirements.
  • Confer with Team Leads to derive requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Experience with AWS.
