Housekeeping Operations Lead

We are seeking a Housekeeping Operations Lead to join our team at the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park in Brown County, WI. In this role, you will oversee grounds maintenance and janitorial duties with a high level of detail and attention, while also providing instruction to seasonal staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in facilities and grounds maintenance or a related field, as well as a valid Wisconsin Driver's License. First Aid/CPR/AED certification is also required, but not necessarily obtained prior to hire.

This role involves performing general facilities maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replenishing restrooms, lobbies, windows, floors, and walls. You will also be responsible for replenishing soap and sanitizer dispensers, minor repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance, as well as other work as instructed.

Additionally, this position requires the ability to operate truck, snow removal equipment, including Skid steer, and custodial equipment. The successful candidate will also be able to organize and plan activities, recognize safety problems and issues, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate a positive image of the facility amongst clients and visitors.

As a member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for facilities maintenance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
