">About This Role

This is a full-time position that requires cleaning and providing housekeeping services throughout County facilities according to established procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and visitors, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

  • Selects and prepares cleaning materials and supplies according to procedure.
  • Cleans assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, walls, doors, doorframes, ceilings, windows, equipment, etc. using cleaning solutions.
  • Cleans vacuums and extracts carpet; spot cleans when necessary.
  • Dusts, mops, deep cleans and top coats floors; moves furniture as required.
  • Operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and sanitation, knowledge of housekeeping procedures and techniques, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas.
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mop machines, and floor buffers.
  • Safely handling hazardous materials and disposing of waste.
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to client inquiries and concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of cleaning experience in a similar profession.
  • A valid Wisconsin driver's license.
  • The ability to pass an FBI background check.
