Position Overview

Role Purpose:

At University First Federal Credit, our mission is to enhance the financial well-being of our members while delivering exceptional service. As a Financial Services Associate, you will take on various responsibilities that may include tasks typically associated with a Teller, Banker, and Loan Officer. Your primary goal will be to assist members by processing transactions, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. A strong emphasis will be placed on boosting member satisfaction and retention through outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members to discern their financial needs and aspirations.
  • Accurately and efficiently handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, wire transfers, and other transactions in line with established protocols.
  • Assess checks presented and determine appropriate hold requirements.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor throughout all member interactions.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all Credit Union products and services.
  • Foster and nurture relationships with both new and existing members, ensuring their needs are met through exceptional service.
  • Manage currency transactions from the vault, ensuring compliance with cash limits.
  • Conduct outreach calls to members for onboarding and relationship enhancement.
  • Propose solutions for members' financial needs by promoting relevant products and services.
  • Address basic inquiries regarding interest rates, fees, and account histories while adhering to disclosure requirements and privacy policies.
  • Refer members with Real Estate, Commercial Loan, and Wealth Management needs to appropriate departments.
  • Gather necessary documentation to support loan applications accurately and honestly.
  • Understand and apply the Bank Secrecy Act in daily operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Work Environment:
