About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in quality management to lead our team towards excellence. As a Quality Assurance and Process Control Manager, you will be responsible for managing product quality, overseeing sanitation procedures, and providing leadership on quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and train employees to achieve quality standards

  • Consult with management, providing leadership on quality and food safety in the manufacturing facility
  • Oversee sanitation procedures and food safety

This is a hands-on role that requires a significant amount of time spent on the production floor, ensuring seamless collaboration and prompt resolution of issues across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred. Alternatively, you may have 5+ years of relevant supervisory experience. You must also be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of various products, including pork, beef, chicken, and nuts. They must also be open to relocation and able to facilitate clear and effective communication across cross-functional teams.

Training and Advancement

As a Quality Assurance and Process Control Manager, you will receive comprehensive training in supervisory skills, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Total Quality Control (TQC), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). This training will equip you with the knowledge and expertise necessary to excel in this role. Additionally, there may be opportunities for advancement to higher-level quality management positions within the company.

Location and Salary

This position is located in Pelican Rapids, MN. The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
