Airport Operations Coordinator

The Airport Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the airport, adhering to FAR Part 139 regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing discrepancy reports, and responding to emergencies. Effective communication of security procedures and updates to governing certifications and policies are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FAA regulations and have experience working in a Part 139 airport. A four-year degree in Aviation Management or Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including overnights, and will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections and prepare discrepancy reports
- Respond to emergencies and follow FAA regulation guidance
- Communicate changes in security procedures
- Assist with updating governing certifications and policies
- Conduct security training and issue SIDA badges
- Four-year degree in Aviation Management or Business Administration
- Minimum two years of experience working in a Part 139 airport
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including overnights
This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive pay grade range of $35.00 per hour. The starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience, education, and salary history. A great benefits package is available, including medical and retirement benefits.
