  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and implementing search solutions utilizing Apache Solr over the past 3 to 4 years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of search engine technologies, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Proficient in indexing, querying, and analyzing extensive datasets, both structured and unstructured, with familiarity in search relevance models and ranking methodologies.
  • Experience in maintaining and developing applications on cloud platforms.
  • Ability to build scalable, distributed, and high-quality software services, including microservices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with database systems and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD DevOps tools.
  • Development and maintenance of advanced query rewriting functionalities.
  • Creation of automated unit tests for the Solr search engine.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for the design, development, review, and testing of the Solr search engine.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOLR, Elasticsearch, and Lucene.
  • Proficient in Java, including JVM tuning and debugging.
  • Good understanding of automation and tooling using Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with Linux for debugging and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential.
