• The Culinary Service Associate is responsible for a range of tasks related to the preparation and assembly of patient meal trays based on individual menu selections, as well as transporting these trays to designated areas.

• This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitary standards for dishware, carts, and trays within kitchen and dining environments.

• Responsibilities include managing, recording, verifying, receiving, and/or delivering stock efficiently and safely.

• The position may require handling cash transactions from customers while ensuring the cleanliness of the café and dining areas.

• It is essential to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with State Board of Health Sanitation Standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience in food service is preferred.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

• ServSafe certification is advantageous.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff from various departments, supervisors, peers, and customers.

• A focus on customer service to create an exceptional experience for both peers and customers.

• A neat and clean appearance is required.

• Ability to safely perform job-related tasks.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions.

• Capability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Basic math skills for portion control, weighing, and cash handling as necessary for the assigned work area.
