Position Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations necessary for the effective execution of construction projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Ben Hur Construction and its clients, as well as their architectural and engineering partners. The coordinator will facilitate project activities and address any inquiries or challenges that arise.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as required.

1. Acquire bidding documents and relevant information from estimators.
2. Manage and assess change orders for ongoing contracts.
3. Coordinate the collection and distribution of all contract-related information for stakeholders, including owners, general contractors, and site supervisors.
4. Identify quality standards and specific safety protocols based on project specifications.
5. Oversee all field surveys and maintain accurate documentation.
6. Develop and uphold the erection plan as part of the site-specific project strategy.
7. Ensure proper logistics for workforce, tools, and equipment for each project.
8. Establish delivery and erection timelines.
9. Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion.
10. Communicate contract obligations to subcontractors, site supervisors, equipment managers, and suppliers.
11. Transmit safety and quality system requirements to on-site teams.
12. Manage activities related to the distribution of drawings.
13. Process requests for information through the project management system.
14. Coordinate shipping needs between field operations and suppliers/subcontractors.
15. Conduct job cost reporting and updates to project schedules.

This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
