Position Overview:


In this role, you will perform engineering tasks related to planning, designing, and supervising construction projects by organizing and managing daily operations; conducting quality inspections; and overseeing subcontractors and field engineers.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geological data to plan projects.

2. Provide essential information regarding the current status of projects and accurately estimate their completion in terms of cost and revenue.

3. Collaborate closely with Walkers/Superintendents on project planning, field leadership, work plan development, submissions, and approvals.

4. Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with project expectations and goals.

5. Manage complex material supplies and draft scopes of work for subcontractors.

6. Develop work plans and hazard analysis plans for crews to safely execute tasks.

7. Promote innovation for cost and schedule enhancements.

8. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and productivity targets.

9. Execute complex construction designs, including SOE, Hydraulics, PLC, Marine, etc.

10. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as necessary for meetings, site visits, training, etc.

11. Willingness to relocate as needed.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction.

3. Experience in Bridge Construction is strongly preferred.

4. Marine construction experience is a plus.
